How Blox Fruits Trade Value Actually Works

 A lot of newer Blox Fruits players assume trade value comes down to rarity — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Mythical — and that's it. In practice, rarity is just the starting point. Actual trade value is shaped by several other factors that shift constantly, which is why the "value" of the same fruit can look completely different a month apart.

Permanent vs. Physical matters a lot. 

A Permanent fruit (bought with Robux/gamepass, tied to your account) is generally worth more than the Physical version of the same fruit, since the physical one can be lost on death and needs to be re-obtained. Two players can own the "same" fruit and have very different trade value because of this alone.

Awakening changes everything. 

An awakened fruit isn't just cosmetically different — it usually has better damage scaling, new abilities, and noticeably different PvP performance. Awakened versions of a fruit are almost always worth significantly more than their non-awakened counterpart, sometimes enough to push a mid-tier fruit into "high value" territory.

PvP meta drives demand more than rarity does. 

This is the part most beginners miss. A fruit can technically be "Mythical" and still not be in high demand if it underperforms in Fruit Battlegrounds or ranked PvP. Meanwhile, a Rare or Legendary fruit with strong combo potential or crowd control can trade for more than fruits above it on paper. Demand follows what's actually winning fights right now, not the label on the fruit.

Updates reset the conversation. Every time new fruits or balance changes drop, the whole value chart shifts — sometimes within a day. A fruit that was considered a great pickup last week might quietly drop in value because a new, stronger option showed up, or because a nerf changed how it performs.
